What is Neighbours meet neighbours?

It is a training course design to empower youth leaders coming from the cross border regions by giving them the skills of project management as project planning, implementation and evaluating. We aim to analyze and point out the potential of these disadvantage area. Come with precise project proposals and create the network of youth leaders from cross border regions in order to set up long lasting international and cross-border partnerships.

Our objectives are:

to share and analyze the specific situations of different cross border regions across Europe.
to train skills of: project planning, project implementation and project evaluating
to achieve the awareness that the main idea behind “cross border cooperation” does not end after 1st of January 2007
to rise the motivation to participate actively in the public life of their local communities
to set-up the long lasting international and cross-border partnership and to maintain the effective cooperation

This year two editions of the training will be conducted. For the detailed information take a look to events. We will keep negotiating about new editions and so far one is being planned for the year 2008.

As the main tangible outcome, the toolbox is being developed within the project. The toolbox is focused on the methods of project managment with special focus on the cross borders areas. More you can find in the toolbox section.
